Socializing and its Perks

We all love ourselves some quiet time especially after a long day at work or school and in all fairness we deserve that. What we do need to avoid doing is making " alone-time" a usual thing, many of us drift away from society by staying indoors all the time and when the chance to come up and be around others comes we forget how to interact and its embarrassing. I say this with confidence because its exactly what I used to do, shocker Huh!

It was something I had been used to do, to stop me from spending a lot of money or getting stuck in unwanted conversations or awkwardness , but I did not take account to the fact that I actually learn more about myself when I talk more and hear other people out on different topics and challenging situations. I was afraid that being around people all the time will make me lose my identity and become a reflection of others. I discovered that I don't have to do this social thing all the time but it has its advantages and they worked out for me when I did it with moderation. When you decide to go out for brunch, watch a football match, join a birthday dinner or book gathering and other forms of events you get out of your comfort zone, you challenge yourself into surviving the wild yes but, you create connections that may last for a few minutes or a lifetime. You get to learn new things and discover what you like and what you don't. So when you go back to your apartment at the end of the day and you see an event pop up from your notifications or an invite from a friend

take the chance, go for it you never know what awesome thing you'd encounter...
