Mindful eating is something I picked up when I was living in China and I had started to meditate. At first it was a challenge for me because I did not understand how sitting still for minutes eventually for hours would be connected to my palette but with time I got to realize that they are indeed connected. The more I meditated the more focused I became on things that were important to me that is; travelling, writing my music and eating well. I became conscious of what I put into my body as it projected heavily on the outside, I did several experiments on myself. Two weeks without any meat and dairy was the first project( I will say that.. it DID NOT GO DOWN WELL!)

Alas! that experience not only made me feel weak in the workplace but screwed up my hormones, my body was like HOLD UP! Ang what are we doing?... I later then had problems with my menstrual cycle for real like 3 months of nothing. I missed Aunt flo and her grumpy nature. After realizing this I honestly got back to my previous diet but got a little more smarter about it because I was not going to jeopardize the work that I had already done. Being aware of my consumption and my overall emotions helped me handle a lot of things in a very systematic brilliant way, I remember a conversation I was having with my ex about why I have not gone to the gym and the old me would have snapped at his ass for even having the courage to say that but I calmly responded" Just because I don't go to the gym does not imply that I am not working out and taking care of my body, I am doing all of these at the comfort of my home." He was shook ladies and gents ... shook

Food is Life! Healthy food is immortality

I learned a lot while living in Asia and still am learning how to take care of myself and so far the three things that have proven to help me get there are changing the way I think (meditating), what I consume( drop the burger B...), exploring my talents and travelling . I love love love this combination of things.
